Performance Measurement and Monitoring

Insight has a wealth of experience in performance measurement design, implementation, and analysis, including working with health care facilities to develop or improve internal health management systems and working with federal agencies to evaluate the outcomes of their programs.

Insight experts have years of experience helping agencies determine optimal methods for gathering complete and accurate performance data. We design efficient performance data collection systems that reduce your burden and improve your data quality, and ensure alignment between performance measures and program goals.

Our extensive experience includes:

  • Designing the foundational data collection and reporting system used to collect performance-measurement information from the Health Resources and Services Administration's (HRSA) Title VII and VIII grantees
  • Developing a rapid-execution survey for HRSA to assess whether the Agency was meeting the GPRA performance measure of retaining nurses in critical-shortage facilities
  • Developing annual and long-term performance measures and efficiency measures for five new programs under HRSA's Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB)

Insight Principal, Bryan Johnson, brings nearly 25 years' experience developing, assisting, and teaching performance measurement principals to federal organizations and senior staff.
