Literature Reviews and Environmental Scans

Before you start any new research, reviews of existing literature and environmental scans are critical to informing the focus that your research will take. We are recognized for our systematic reviews of research evidence.

We work with you early in the process to clarify the questions and issues of interest, propose search and analysis criteria, explain our methods for extracting and compiling findings, and discuss templates and other formats for presenting findings.

For environmental scans, we conduct an analysis and evaluation of internal conditions and external factors (including educational, demographic, political, economic/cultural, geographic, technological, and other factors) that affect your particular topic of interest.

For more than a decade, we have conducted environmental scans and literature reviews on a variety of policy topics for numerous Federal and State agencies and associations.
